Benefits of free banking
We won’t charge you for:
- paying in or taking out cash,
- paying in or issuing cheques,
- standing orders or direct debits.
There is no limit on the number of deposits or withdrawals, and you do not need to keep a minimum balance in your account to qualify.
All we ask is that you keep your account within agreed limits, for example not going overdrawn without agreeing with us first.
When your free banking period is over
When your free banking period ends our Business Extra Tariff will apply. You can choose to remain on this tariff and earn credit interest, as applicable. If you use electronic or automated ways of banking then you may prefer our Electronic Business Tariff, which includes lower cost charges for these types of transactions but does not pay credit interest.
