What is Employers' Liability Insurance?

As an employer, you are legally responsible for the health and safety of your employees whilst at work. Employers’ Liability Insurance provides you with vital protection against compensation claims from your employees if they are injured at work or become ill as a result of their work.

Why do you need Employers'  Liability Insurance?

If you employ any members of staff, including conventional employees, contract staff, casual and seasonal staff, temps, students and others on work placements, it is a legal requirement to have a level of Employers’ Liability. If you have no Employers’ Liability cover, your business could be fined as much as £2,500 per day, until put into place.

Lloyds TSB Essential Business Insurance, Employers’ Liability insurance includes up to £10 million compensation cover, so you can trade confidently and without the risk of being unprepared for significant financial claims.

Which Essential Business Insurance products offer Employers' Liability Insurance? 

Lloyds TSB Essential Business Insurance, arranged and underwritten by Allianz Insurance plc, offers a range of packages that include Public Liability cover as standard.
Each package is designed to provide a range of covers to suit the trade selected. Simply find the trade that most closely matches yours, and you’ll be presented with standard cover, and various optional covers that you can tailor to meet the specific needs of your business.
