Documentary letters of credit are frequently used as the agreed method of settlement for international trade. We will reimburse the seller against presentation of documents that meet with conditions laid out in the documentary letter of credit by you as the buyer.

You should be aware that you are liable for any sum paid by the Bank on your behalf and that there is a minimum transaction charge of £150 for import documentary letters of credit.
