Electronic Business Tariff transaction charges
As more and more businesses are choosing to use electronic and automated ways of banking, the cost of providing these services is coming down. We want to pass on these cost savings and so have introduced a new lower cost menu of charges in the form of the Electronic Business Tariff.
The Electronic Business Tariff does not pay credit interest. Once you've registered for the Electronic Business Tariff, you'll get the benefits as long as you keep at least £1 in your account. However, if your balance falls below £1, you'll pay the standard Business Extra Tariff on all transactions during the appropriate charging period (from the 10th of one month to the 9th of the next) and you won't receive any credit interest.
Please refer to our brochure Electronic Business Tariff, for more details of the tariff. A copy can be obtained from your local branch.
