If you would like to register for Text alerts but haven't yet registered for Internet banking, why wait? You can register for Internet banking online now.

If you are registered for Internet banking

To register for Text alerts, log on to Internet banking and select 'Text alerts' from the left menu.

Features & Benefits

You can choose to have Text alerts sent either daily or weekly.
You choose which business accounts you receive Text alerts for.
Each text gives you your balance and up to last six recent transactions.
You can nominate another user to receive your texts.

We’ll send Text alerts between 7am and 10am and you can choose to receive them daily (Monday-Friday) or weekly. For weekly alerts, you choose which day of the week suits you best.

How do I apply?

If you're not yet registered for Internet banking

To register for Text alerts, log on to Internet banking and select 'Text alerts' from the left menu.

Call 0845 072 5555 to register.

**If you receive Text alerts while overseas you are responsible to ensure it is lawful to receive Text alerts in the country you are in and your mobile provider may charge. To avoid this charge you can pause text alerts at any time, meaning you won't receive alerts while you're away. You can do this in Internet Banking once you're registered for Text alerts.

Evening and weekend calls cost 6p plus up to 2ppm from a BT Together landline as at 9 May 2008. Mobile and other providers' charges may vary. Calls may be monitored or recorded in case we need to check we have carried out your instructions correctly and to help improve our quality of service.
